If you’re looking for a PT with encyclopedic fitness knowledge, athlete-like precision and a star-studded client list, Matt Roberts aka @mattrobertspt is here to deliver the goods.
Joining our team of expert trainers, Matt’s classes aim to increase calorie burn, tone muscle and balance hormone levels associated with aging.
He achieves this in part through Peripheral Heart Action (PHA) training — a high-efficiency workout that gets your blood pumping harder by alternating upper and lower body sets. Burning more calories in a short space of time, it’s a great way to manage the changes in your body through precise movement.
Matt’s tried and tested methods have helped him create a fitness and nutrition empire, training the likes of Tom Ford, Naomi Campbell, Amanda Holden, Mel C and The Saturdays.
He also happens to be the son of celebrated former Arsenal player, John Roberts.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Matt was a keen footballer from the start and competed regionally, nationally and internationally in various sports, including rugby, cross country and junior level sprinting.
By the age of 22, inspired by the lack of professional physio and nutritional advice available to the public, he opened Europe’s first training centre in Mayfair. He now has three.
So what can you expect from Matt’s classes?
Expect to be put through your paces. Flying solo or working alongside fellow PT Alex Riches, Matt will teach you progressions and ensure your technique is flawless.
“My aim is to help people get stronger and leaner, and feel energised and vitalised. Take my classes to improve your overall health, balance your hormone levels and stay at your physical peak for longer.’
